Stewart Selby

Stewart A. Selby, 90, of Dry Ridge, passed away on Wednesday June 25th, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence. Mr. Selby was a highly decorated World War II veteran of the Army, receiving the Bronze Star while serving. He was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years and he also was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Jean Selby; his brother, Paul Selby; his grandson, Jay Dattilo; and his great-grandson, Connor Herald. He is survived by his daughters, Theresa Dattilo of Edgewood, Julianne Harris of Erlanger, and Mary Rolfsen of Verona; and his son, Stewart Selby of Dry Ridge. He also leaves behind his 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
