Leo Brophy

Leo J. Brophy III, 74, of Ft. Wright, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 30th, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. He worked in insurance and real estate for Brophy Insurance and Real Estate for 31 years. Leo was also a member of Covington Catholic Alumni Association, Kenton County Rotary, Knights of Columbus, the Kenton County Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees), and he also was a very avid golfer. Leo was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Mary Ann Brophy, his brother-in-law, Thomas Corsmeier, his nephew, Jeffrey Brophy; his niece, Therese Marsh; and his great-niece, Elana Brophy. He is survived by his brothers, Jerry (Berdella) Brophy of Edgewood, James Brophy of Erlanger, and John (Dee) Brophy of Ft. Wright; and his sister, Mary Ann Corsmeier of Florence. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Monday August 4th, 2014 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Ft. Wright from 10:00AM-11:30AM. Mass of Christian burial will follow the visitation at 11:30AM at the church. Burial at St. Mary Cemetery. Memorials to: St. Elizabeth Hospice Edgewood 483 S.
