Colleen Madonna Bill (nee DeFranco) born July 22, 1983 went to her heavenly home on June 28, 2026 as the result of complications from a heart attack that occurred on April 11, 2026.

She was the loving wife, of 21 years, to Timothy Bill and devoted mother of their six children: Katherine Colleen (Zach), Adam Timothy, Leah Colleen, Evan Timothy, Anna Colleen and Nora Colleen. And grandmother to Charlotte Katherine Baxter. She is survived by her father Jim DeFranco, brothers Dan (Monica), Tom (Lauren) and proceeded in death by her mother Donna (Madonna) DeFranco.

Colleen was a Registered Nurse for 21 years, working at Good Samaritan, Cape Fear, Humana, and most recently at St Elizabeth as a Cardiac Research Nurse. FromThinking of your entire family and wishing you peace and comfort as you grieve.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.— Matthew 5:4
With love and prayers, Faith and Bridget Gaddis

Speechless

Tim, Katie, Adam, Leah, Evan, Anna and Nora,
I am still speechless over everything that happed over the 78 days, from the first phone call on April 11th , to the opportunity I had to visit Colleen at St.E’s, to the sad news that she was taken by Jesus. Just know that you are being wrapped and held in the Blessed Mother’s love. Please remember that you are not alone. There are so many people who love and care for you. May the memories you hold dear to your heart get you through.
Fr. Joe

Tears

“There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are messengers of grief and unspeakable love.” Washington Irving
