Born in Rochester, New Hampshire on February 7, 1942, to the late Joseph and Isabelle Hebert, Ray dedicated nearly 60 years to education, including many years at Thomas More College/University, where he served as a professor, administrator, and mentor to countless students. In prayer

Maureen and family:
Kathy and I have fond memories of Ray.
Ray’s lasting impact has been evident at Thomas More, Five Seasons, St. Pius, CCSA Study Abroad, and Rotary, where he “lit up rooms” and now leaves a lasting impression. He was inspirational and encouraging. I will miss him, as will countless others.

Eternal rest grant unto him, Oh Lord.

Kathy and Jack Rudnick

Message

I did not know Raymond but I did work with his wife, Maureen at Good Sam Hospital

My sympathies to Maureen and the family

“He’s one of mine”

Dr.Hebert was not only a great, exciting teacher but a wonderful human being. He carried the Thomas More tradition of helping mentor young minds into becoming individuals that care about others and make a positive difference in society. He even brought his “mitt” a nod to his Northeast upbringing, to toss baseball with some of the guys after practice. He often introduced me to others saying “he is one of mine”. I can only imagine he made that same introduction for hundreds of his students that he influenced in such a positive way. Trust me, his spirit, determination and wit live on. I am honored to be one of his, Shawn Carroll, class of 84

In deepest sorrow

I am forever grateful and honored to have known and taught the students while Dr. Hebert was Dean at Thomas Moore College. It was indeed a privilege to be in his presence . My Prayers are with the Family, Friends, and Students.

Prayers

Maureen and Girls,
We offer our deepest sympathy and prayers on Ray’s passing and your loss. His obituary says it all. A man who contributed so much to our community in so many ways. May you find peace and comfort that Ray is in the loving arms of our awesome God and is teaching history to someone in heaven. You will continue to be in our prayers.
