Condolences

Tammy Wagers (Powers), 65, passed away on June 20, 2026, in Erlanger, Kentucky.

Born in Covington, Kentucky, Tammy was raised in Ludlow and later lived in Villa Hills before spending most of her life in Erlanger. Throughout her career she worked in tax and audit services, including many years with the IRS in Covington. Her outgoing personality and gift for conversation helped her form many meaningful friendships along the way.

Tammy was a proud mother who never missed an opportunity to share stories about her children and stepchildren. She took great pride in her family and in the effort she devoted to providing for and raising her children.

She is survived by her children, Kelton, Keenan, Kelita, and Nikita; stepchildren, Jon, Kristina and Erika; and her mother, Nancy. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Roger and Paul.

Those who knew Tammy will remember her kindness, her caring nature, and her ability to connect with people from all walks of life. She loved butterflies, Elvis Presley, sunny days by the pool, and finding reasons to enjoy life. She could strike up a conversation with just about anyone and had a way of making people feel noticed and included.

Tammy’s life was shaped by both joys and hardships. She was proud of the family she raised and of the perseverance that carried her through difficult times. Her children carry forward many of the lessons she taught them, along with the strength and resilience forged through life’s challenges. Her impact remains a part of the lives she touched, and her memory will endure through the family she loved so fiercely.

A private family gathering has been held. Tammy will be cremated.

We love you, Mom.
