Tributes
David Michael Ramirez, age 58, passed away peacefully at his home on February 24, 2026. He was born on April 30, 1967, in Chicago, Illinois, to David Ramirez Jr. and Jean Ramirez (née Gmyrek). David grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio with a deep love for his family, sports and fishing—qualities that would define his life and the way he connected with others.
David was a devoted, loving husband and proud and dedicated father. He was a funny man with a magnetic personality, and truly, everyone loved him. His laughter, warmth, and intelligence made him unforgettable to those fortunate enough to know him.
David looked forward to his annual fishing trips with friends, creating countless memories on the water. He loved attending concerts and music festivals, always eager for the next experience. Universal Studios was his family’s happy place, and he cherished every visit there, along with attending WrestleMania. David attended The Ohio State University and was a fierce Buckeyes fan.
David was dedicated to his career at Pacific Manufacturing Ohio, Inc. in Fairfield, Ohio, where he served for 20+ years. He joined the company in 2001 and worked his way up to assistant general manager. Over the years, his coworkers became like family. He took great pride in his work and the relationships he built throughout his career.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Heather Ramirez (née Anderson); his loving children, Chloe, Alex, and Kaden; his supportive mother, Jean Ramirez; and his sisters, Deena Watson, Diane Ramirez and Desiree (Ralph) Hamm. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, extended family members, coworkers, and dear friends who will miss him deeply.
