Robert Blankenship
Robert E. Blankenship, 60, entered eternal life with his family at his side on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. Robert was a devoted husband, caring father and a dear friend to many. He was preceded by his parents Robert O. and Margie Blankenship. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 30 years, Sheila Blankenship of Erlanger, KY; children: Shawn Robert (Brandy) Blankenship of Independence, KY, Britney (Tom) Fisher of Newport, KY, and Carrie Ann Graue of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren Jack, Addie, Gage; sisters: Violet (Don) Fleck of Villa Hills, KY and Eileen (Tom) Huff of Dry Ridge, KY; nieces, nephews, many other family members and friends. Visitation will be Monday, October 20, 2014 from 5 PM to 8PM at Linnemann Family Funeral Home in Erlanger, KY. Service will be the following day at the funeral home, Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 10 AM with burial to follow at Highland Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, KY. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society 297 Buttermilk Pike, Ft. Mitchell 41017.

I miss you every day and wish I could be there with you. Till then, I will run towards our children and grandchildren. I will cherish love as we cherished our marriage. I will be foolish and gossip.
I’m scared everyday I will live by myself with just my kids to keep me in a box. I’m trying to empty that huge box that’s to big to have around. Then find myself still missing you everyday. Hopefully I will cleanup and get another castle of my own.
