Mark Samad

Mark R. Samad, 60, entered eternal life on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, KY surrounded by his family. Mark was a coach for the Boone County Knothole Association for over 20 years. His parents William and Virginia Samad and his brother William David Samad, Jr. preceded him in death. Mark will be dearly missed by his wife of 38 years, Catherine Samad of Burlington, KY; children: Sara (Jeff) Coppage of Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, Bill (Valerie) Samad of Union, KY, Ben Samad of Burlington, KY, Beth (Michael) Craver of Burlington, KY, Brian Samad of Burlington, KY, and Jake Samad of Edgewood, KY; grandchildren Brent, Cody, Courtney, Brendan, Christian, Jaelyn, Patrick, Jasmine, Cameron, Kyla, Olivia, Catie, Sam, and Bailee; siblings Sandra Samad, Sue Baird, Sharon Holland, Mike Samad, and Jay Samad as well as many family members and friends. A memorial Mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Burlington, KY on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 11 AM with a reception to follow starting at 12:30 PM at Florence Baptist Church at Mt. Zion.
