Reed Turner

Reed Turner, age 100, of Boone County, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood.
He was born on April 19, 1925, to the late Ned Turner and Lula Turner (née Clay). Reed proudly served his country as a United States Army Veteran. Following his service, he devoted his life to hard work and entrepreneurship, spending many years as a skilled mechanic specializing in tractors and mowers. He owned and operated his own business, Turner’s Mower Service, where he was known for his dedication, craftsmanship, and willingness to help others.
Reed was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Lawrence, Ned Jr., Bobby and Chester. He is survived by his beloved wife, Edythe Turner; daughters Judy (Gary) and Brenda; and his sister, Marie. He also leaves behind cherished grandchildren Brian, Mark (Cathy), David (Cecilia), and Kelly (Tristan), as well as great-grandchildren Will, Brian II, Ellie, Morrison, Kindra, Bonham, Karlee, Reed, Elvis, Conway, Khalifa, and Jennings.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with services to follow, at Linnemann Funeral Homes, 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY 41005. Burial will take place at Richwood Cemetery in Richwood, Kentucky.
