Margaret Isabel Wissmann

Margaret Isabel Wissmann, age 78, of Union, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025, at Boone Springs Nursing Facility.

Margaret was born on April 12, 1947, in Covington, Kentucky, to the late William and Anna Wissmann (née Bagby). She was a graduate of St. Agnes Grade School and Notre Dame Academy, where she formed lifelong friendships and a strong foundation of faith.

Margaret dedicated 30 years of her professional life to American Airlines, where she worked in a variety of roles at multiple locations. She took pride in her work and the many relationships she built throughout her career. A devoted member of St. Timothy Parish in Union, Margaret’s faith remained an important part of her life. In her retirement, she especially enjoyed traveling and exploring new places.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Slayden; her sisters, Martha Dwertman and Patricia Daly; and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom will cherish her memory.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Timothy Church, Union, Kentucky. Burial of cremains will be held privately at St. John Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.
