Obituary
Condolences

Carol Hoffman, 56, of Edgewood, Kentucky, passed away on December 7, 2025. She was born on October 30, 1969, in Covington, Kentucky, and grew into a fiercely independent woman whose strength and spirit were unmistakable in everything she did.

Carol was a loving and devoted mother to her son, Jake Jones, who was the greatest joy of her life. She had a beautiful smile—one that lit up every room she entered and made the people around her feel welcome and loved. Those who knew her best will remember her sharp wit, smart and sarcastic sense of humor, and her gift for making people laugh even in the hardest moments. She had a playful personality and truly loved to joke around, bringing joy wherever she went.

In her free time, Carol enjoyed watching FCC soccer games, cheering loudly and proudly. She also had a deep fascination with all things paranormal, finding excitement and curiosity in the unknown.

Carol is survived by her beloved son, Jake Jones, and by her siblings: Chuck (Rebecca) Hoffman, Gayle (Jim Parsons) Hoffman, Drew Hoffman, Chris Hoffman, Nick (Lorece) Hoffman, Phil Hoffman, Greta (Chris) Walker, Tom (Amy) Hoffman, Steve Hoffman, John Hoffman, and Melanie Hoffman.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Hoffman; her brother, Rick Hoffman; and her sister, Sue Hoffman.

Carol’s independence, warmth, beautiful smile, and unforgettable personality will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed.
