Robert “Stuart” Crickmer

Robert “Stuart” Crickmer, 66, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025 at his residence in Florence, KY. As a retired CPA/CFA, Stuart was passionate about teaching others financial literacy and formed his own company focused on teaching students how to invest their money and protect their futures. A lover of art, music, and literature, Stuart enjoyed the beauty around him, whether playing one of his many guitars, traveling the world with his beloved wife of 45 years, Sharon, or painting scenes from these travels. He was immensely proud of all of his children, supporting them in all aspects of their lives. Stuart’s famed wit and sarcasm as well as his extensive travel itineraries, will be profoundly missed by friends and family. As a person who could never turn down a good Old Fashioned, the family invites you to raise a glass and toast to a life lived fully. Preceded in death by his parents, Robert Edward Crickmer and Nancy Stuart (nee Rabert). Survivors include his wife, Sharon Crickmer, daughter Tara (John W.) Brown, son David Crickmer, son Matthew Crickmer, son Alexander (Christina) Crickmer, and brother Charles “Chuck” Crickmer. Also surviving are grandchildren Victoria (Chalmer) Geis, John (Kelsey) Brown Jr., Katie Brown, and great-grandchildren John Brown III and Finn Michael Brown.
