Obituary
Condolences

Gregory David Adams, Jr., age 55, of Erlanger, Kentucky, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Born on April 21, 1970, in Covington, Kentucky, Greg lived a life full of laughter, generosity, and deep devotion to the people he loved.

Greg was the life of every party—truly someone who never met a stranger. His circle of friends was enormous, and yet he made each person feel seen, supported, and valued. He had no enemies, only people who adored him. Whether he was cracking a joke, offering a boost of confidence, or cheering someone on, Greg had a gift for lifting spirits wherever he went.

A proud and passionate Bengals fan (much to the dismay of his Steelers-loving brother, Mike), Greg carried his team spirit with pride. But above all else, family was the center of his world. He cherished each of them fiercely, and nothing brought him more joy than being “Papaw” to his granddaughter, Ivy. She was truly “Papaw’s girl,” and loving her was one of his greatest honors in life.

Greg is survived by his parents, Deborah McGovern, and Gregory David Adams, Sr.; his children, Branden Adams and Cassidi (Pedro) Adams-Vieira; his siblings, Michael (Shelly) Adams, Krista (Jason) Eglian, and David (Erin) Adams; his granddaughter, Ivy Lynn Adams-Vieira; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Dean, who never left his side.

The family will hold a celebration of Greg’s life at a later date, where loved ones will gather to share stories, laughter, and memories of a man who brightened every room he entered.
