Donna Jean Scharber

Donna Jean Scharber (née Wolfe) passed away on October 28, 2025, surrounded by love. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Thelma Wolfe (née Gabbard).

Donna is survived by her husband of 35 years, Mark Scharber; her daughters, Karri Andres (Tim) and Tonia Begley; her grandchildren, Brooke Harris and Zhanee Thomas, who brought her endless joy; and her sister Ella Birkle (Bill).

For more than 30 years, Donna was a familiar and friendly face at the Oriental Wok, where her laughter and warmth made everyone feel welcome. She was truly a social butterfly—she never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation anywhere she went. Donna loved good food, great music (especially Tina Turner), and dancing like nobody was watching. When she wasn’t out socializing, she enjoyed curling up with a good book—especially a scary story that could give her goosebumps.

Donna’s big heart, sense of humor, and lively spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
