Obituary
Condolences

George Washington Arrowood, age 79, of Walton, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born in Breathitt County, Kentucky on November 22,1945, George lived a full and humble life built on family, laughter, and the simple things that made him happiest — a cold Natty Light and a trip to Kroger were enough to brighten his day.

George was a proud and loving father to his seven children: Kimberly, Kamala, Kassi, William, Drew, Micah and Starr. His love extended deeply to his grandchildren — Kino, Kiya, Kamala, Kendra, Kelsey, Kain Arrowood, Kayson, Kamden, Kinley, Elliott, and Bristol — and his six great-grandchildren, who brought him endless joy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sigel and Lallie; siblings Sigel  Jr., Lou, Jean, Bill, and Faye.

George will be remembered for his quick wit, his easygoing spirit, and the deep love he carried for his family. His presence brought warmth to every gathering, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

The visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Linnemann Burlington, Kentucky from 11am -12:30pm. Services will immediately follow at 12:30pm Your kind gesture of flowers would be warmly appreciated by the family.
