Someone you used to know

I knew Liam when he was little. Dave used to be like an uncle to me. Hearing this is devastating and although I don’t talk to my dad anymore i am forever grateful he told me this. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. Liam was such a kind soul. I remember little, but the little I remember meant so much. The ways he would carry around his big history books and rattle off facts about random wars or when we would play fight around the house. I am only a year older than Liam and to think that he will never be older than 14 breaks my heart. My Condolences to you and your family, and God bless you.

CEMS Remembers Liam with Love

On behalf of Camp Ernst Middle School, I want to express our deepest condolences to you on this heartbreaking loss. Liam touched the lives of so many at Camp Ernst from his conversations about cameras and photography to WWII. He will be remembered by his CEMS school family and we share in your grief during this unimaginably difficult time. Please know our thoughts, prayers, and support are with you and your family and we will honor Liam’s memory by holding on to the impact he had on all of us. We are so very sorry. ~ Stephanie Hagerty

My condolence.

I think about him everyday, there doesn’t go a second without thinking of him. Everybody I know, always says only if Liam could have seen this or been here. Well he is, somewhere up there he’s looking at us praying for us and hoping the best for us. Liam wouldn’t ask for anything more then to be happy. I love you Liam. I’ll miss you. -Z

My condolences

I went to CEMS with Liam. Although we didn’t talk, many people I do know talk about how funny and intelligent Liam was. They’ve said he had a lot of thoughts and facts to share about history, had an amazing sense of humor, and was overall an amazing human being. I did see him in the hall a few times at school when I was passing through and it seemed like he lit up every room he entered. It’s a shame such an amazing young man left this world so soon, we all miss you so much Liam. And for Liam’s family, I am so sorry for your loss. You all are so strong. Rest in peace Liam.

My Condolences

I went to school with Liam at CEMS. Although I didin’t really see him as often I enjoyed being with him. I really did enjoy Liam’s knowledge about World Wars, History, and Cameras. Each time I talked to Liam I really did learn something new, and always his funny jokes too. I recall Liam always having a warm smile on his face and being a great supportive friend. I was shocked to hear about Liams Passing. We miss you Liam, Rest In Peace. My Prayers and Condolences for Liam’s Family going through this.

Prayers

I didn’t know Liam, I had met him a couple times when he was with his papa John, and all I can say is his papa adored him. John I am so sorry for your family’s loss. My heart aches for you all. You now have a beautiful angel watching over you. God bless you all. Prayers.

Sweet Liam

Oh sweet Liam! I will never forget this sweet red headed boy who proudly wore those cowboy boots (and even snow boots and rain boots) to my 2nd grade classroom almost every day! He was such a sweet, kind hearted boy. I am so incredibly sorry for this awful and unthinkable loss. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers as you navigate the next stages of this life.

Exhilerating soul

I’ll admit I didn’t know Liam well. We had our ups and downs- as many do. But there was something special about him- no matter what silly joke or quip he made, or how offensive it was (he was great at those- made my day), he always remained a close figure. When I heard the news I didn’t want to believe it was real- something so horrible happening to someone I know. But I do not wish to be sad. He’d want us all to be happy- smiling and laughing along with us. Just wish I could hear one of his jokes again. Rest in peace- and I pray for the Perry family.

Always had a smile on his face

I didn’t know Liam that well, I’ve only talked to him a handful of times, but what I do know is that he always left a positive impression on people, and was always laughing or smiling. I give condolences to his friends and family and I pray that they get through this tough time, he sat at the table beside me at lunch and always had the people around him with a smile, and I hope his family and friends recover from this horrible loss.

❤️

Liam was an amazing person, i met him at ag bash for FFA and he instantly brightened everyones mood, he was so kind and smart and absolutely hilarious. I am so sorry for the loss and we will continue to honor him :).

Kindest soul

Liam was my friend, we talked in 8th grade mostly and he was so funny. I had gym with him and everyday he would play volleyball with me in a group. He made my 8th grade year better with his jokes and his hobbies. He was so intelligent, he loved army related things and history, I learned a lot from him. He was also so funny and made so many of my days with his jokes. He will be and is so missed and I will keep his family in my prayers.

I loved Liam

I had the honor and privilege of teaching Liam at Camp Ernst. His love of history made him one of my favorites and I always looked forward to our chats. He was intelligent beyond compare, way ahead of his time yet also, an old soul. I will never forget him showing me his prized possession, the camera just like the one made popular during the Kennedy Assassination. I still have the pictures I took of it on my phone. He was so proud of his collection of cameras and loved sharing his passion with others. Talking to him about history made me feel like I was talking to a friend and not a child. He was advanced in this knowledge of historical facts and was able to bring new insights to me and my classroom. I loved Liam and will think about him often. I will keep all of you in my prayers and forever cherish the memories I have of this remarkable young man.
Love always,
Molly Bishop

Rest in Peace, Liam.

I had the privilege of having Liam in art multiple times while he was a student at CEMS. He was a very talented artist. He was also kind, intelligent, responsible, and so many other wonderful things. As a history fanatic, Liam depicted aircraft and other military-related imagery in many of his projects. His impromptu history lessons stemming from his artwork were always delivered with great detail and passion. He was such a joy to have in class. Wishing his close friends and family peace. Remember him laughing, smiling, and the happy memories you shared with him. That is his legacy!

God is our refuge & strength

Dear Perry Family,
I am so sorry to read about the loss of your dear loved one, Liam. Even though I do not know you personally, I would like to offer my sincere condolences. May you all draw comfort and hope from God’s Word the Bible where he promises that, “He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away” (Rev. 21:4). Isn’t it comforting to know our loving Heavenly Father will wipe away all things that cause us sadness? His beloved son also promises that, “All those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out” (John 5:28-29). Just imagine seeing Liam again, what a joyful time that will be. In the meantime, God assures you, “He is close to all the broken-hearted, and he saves those crushed in spirit” (Ps. 34:18). It is my hope that these promises will give you comfort now and a real hope for your future. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time of sorrow.

God be with you all.

Liam Perry was a great friend of mine. For days, I attempted to convince myself that this was all some sick lie, because I go to a different high school, and I wasn’t sure at first. In 7th and 8th, Liam and I were great friends who had many similar beliefs and interests. God Rest. I never could of expected this.

I’m sorry for your loss

I didn’t really know Liam but I know he was a great you man and was always trying to make another person smile.
