Robert C. Perrone

Robert C. Perrone, 79, of Florence, KY, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Robert was a native New Yorker who moved to Kentucky in 1965 to pursue a degree in education, earning his undergraduate degree from Cumberland College and later a master’s from Xavier University. He began his career teaching French at Boone County High School and went on to serve as a guidance counselor at Williamsburg High School in Ohio where he worked until his retirement.

Robert was an avid golfer and found great joy both on and off the course. After retiring from education, he remained active, working at Lassing Pointe Golf Course and later as a school bus driver for the Boone County School District. He especially enjoyed the friendships and conversations shared between morning and afternoon routes.

A dedicated sports fan, Robert proudly supported local teams like UK and Xavier basketball, the Bengals, and the Reds—but he never wavered in his loyalty to his lifelong favorites, the New York Yankees and the New York Giants.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Frances Perrone and his brother James Perrone.

Robert is survived by his loving daughter, Nicole Perrone and her husband, Josh Dorsey; grandson, Aiden Dorsey; and many cherished friends who were like family to him.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 9:00 AM until memorial funeral mass, 10:00 AM at St. Barbara Church, 4042 Turkeyfoot Rd., Erlanger, KY 41018.
