Tributes
Brent worked in construction, specializing in punch-out work and construction warranty projects. He also embraced numerous hobbies that brought him joy.
Brent cheered passionately for his hometown teams. He was an avid supporter of the UK Wildcats basketball team, and a proud Cincinnati sports fan. Brent also loved the outdoors. Whether kayaking, fishing, camping, or building campfires, he found joy and peace in nature, especially when sharing those moments with his beloved son, Cassidy, whom he loved deeply and always felt was the best part of him. His love for the outdoors was matched by his love for cooking and gardening. He was known for his green thumb and love of nurturing plants.
Brent’s heart was as big as his smile. He was a proud and supportive brother and uncle, always present with encouragement and love for his family. His kindness, generosity, and loyalty will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his cherished son, Cassidy Garman; his companion Lacey Hasto and his chosen daughter Evey Wirsching; his loving parents, Gerald and Traci Baynum; his siblings, Nate (Sarah) Baynum, Brandon (Catherine) Garman, Sesili (Christopher) Garman, and Chelsea (Eric) Hopp; and his five nephews: Kaeden, Conrad, Bowen, Wyatt, and Beckett. He also leaves behind his grandparents, Joseph and Carol Canaday, Joette Garman, and Marian Baynum, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Brent is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Garman; Grandfather, Clarence Garman; and Uncles, Mark Baynum and Timothy Baynum.
