Joseph Bruening

Joseph H. Bruening, age 65 of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on December 28, 2024. He was born on August 8, 1959 to the late John and Anna (nee Schoene) Bruening.

Joseph was a graduate of Western Hills High School. After high school he went on to serve in the US Marines, and later worked at Central Light and Richards Electric for many years.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death also by his sisters, Lorelei Bruening and Lisa Hampson; and his brother, James Bruening. He is survived by his sons, Jeremiah (Katie) Bruening and Jacob (Taylor) Bruening; sisters, Louise McGuffin, Lois Bruening; and brother, John Bruening II, grandchildren, Hayden Crutcher and Emery Bruening, and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Joseph will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Linnemann Funeral Home in Erlanger, Kentucky from 5:00pm until 7:00pm with a brief service at 6:30pm. Burial will take place privately at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Cincinnati, Ohio.
