Condolences

Phyllis Ford (nee Perkins), of Burlington, died Monday, February 3 in her home surrounded by her family. She was 80 years old. Phyllis retired from Sears, where she worked in the Florence Mall location for over 30 years. She was a graduate of Holmes High School. Phyllis was an active member of Erlanger Methodist Church, Hopeful Lutheran Church, a local Red Hats chapter, and the Kenton County Homemakers. Our mother loved traveling, camping, crafting, and celebrating holidays with her family. But most of all she loved her family. She is survived by her sons Rodney (Susan) of Florence, and Eric (Lauri) of Dry Ridge; her grandchildren, Alex and Lauren both of Dry Ridge; her brother Bobby (Shirley) Perkins of Brooksville; her extended family including in-laws and 3 nephews; and many friends. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Larry; her mother Emma; her father Stanley; her step-mother Ruth; a nephew; and a niece. Visitation will be Saturday, February 8, 10a – Noon, with funeral beginning at Noon, at Hopeful Lutheran Church in Florence. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers send a donation to the Hopeful Lutheran Church food pantry.
