James Rogers

James K. Rogers, 72, Sr., entered into eternal life at his home in Union, KY, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, April 26, 2015. James, one of seven children, was born to Algernon and Bessie Rogers. James was an avid fan of the Reds, Louisville Cardinals and UK Wildcats. He loved to golf and considered carpentry as a hobby. James was past president of the Erlanger Lions Club, Coached the Dixie Area Knothole Baseball for ten years, served on the Erlanger City Council and was a member of the First Church of Christ. James will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 54 years, Sharon Rogers; their sons: James K. Rogers, Jr. (Rebecca), Gregory K. Rogers, and Timothy K. Rogers (Laura); 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, as well as many family members and friends. Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Linnemann Family Funeral Home in Erlanger, KY, with service to follow at 7:00 PM.
