David Chaney

Dave Chaney of Florence, KY, passed away Wednesday evening after a sudden heart attack at the age of fifty-six. Hailing originally from the midwest but married to a southern girl, Dave was a gentleman through and through. He was tall in stature with a characteristically deep, reassuring voice with which he shared his inexhaustible reserves of kindness with friends and family alike. Dave was preceded in death by his darling daughter, Laura Chaney, who inexplicably passed away in 2009 at the age of eighteen. Dave is survived by his wife Kay Chaney, son Allen Chaney, and daughter-in-law Meghan Chaney. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 25, 2015, from 10:30am until 12:30pm at Linnemann Funeral Home in Burlington. Services will be held privately.
