Donna Sue Hughes, 73, passed away Monday September 30, 2024 at St Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, KY. She worked as a server with Frisch’s Restaurant for 40 years. She loved bowling and bingo. Going to the casino any time she could and spending time with her grandbabies. She was a fighter and a lover and everything in between. She loved Jesus and even through her toughest days continually said “Jesus has been through worse. This is just my cross to bare”. She is preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Audrey Hughes, and brothers Lawrence Daley, James Daley and David Hughes. Survivors include her son Scott (Kristie) Gosney, daughter Diane (Jeremy) Heil and daughter Sonya Eckert. Also surviving are grandchildren Jacey (Benjamin) Nason  Audrey Gosney, Emilee Heil, Gabriel Gosney, Christopher Gosney, Anatasia Hollon and great-granddaughter Josephine Nason. Visitation will be held Monday October 7, 2024 from 2pm to 4pm with a funeral service to follow at Linnemann Funeral Homes, 30 Commonwealth Ave, Erlanger, KY. Burial of cremains will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
