Ruth Butcher

Ruth A. Butcher (Nee Dressman), 83, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015 at her Burlington, KY residence. Ruth worked as a Mortgage Originator for Fidelity Federal Savings and Loan for 34 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene “Gene” Butcher in 2010 and her 2 sisters Emily Gerdon and Martha Harrison. She is survived by her children Steven Butcher (Cynthia) of Burlington, KY, Kay Vonderschmidt of Burlington, KY, Laura Davies (Reese) of Hebron, KY, and Robert Butcher (Sharon Kay) of Burlington, KY, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 12 noon and 2pm at Linnemann Funeral Home Erlanger. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 2pm at the funeral home. The family will be holding a Celebration Wake after the funeral service. Interment of cremated remains will be at Mother of God Cemetery.
