Owen Huffman

Owen Paul Huffman, 87, of Elsmere, KY passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015, at Madonna Manor in Villa Hills. Paul worked as a commercial carpenter for the Carpenters’ Union # 698 for over 50 years. He also was the treasurer for the Carpenters’ Union for 25 years, the treasurer and delegate of the Northern Kentucky Labor Council, a delegate to the Kentucky State District Council of Carpenters, a member of AARP, Prime Time Seniors, Holy Name Society, the Knights of Columbus, and he was a member of the St. Henry Choir. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Huffman; and his sisters, Jane Moser and Marietta Lang. He is survived by his loving children: Mark Huffman, John (Isa) Huffman, David Huffman, Christine (Dan) Kellerman, Susan (Mark) Helgeson, Maureen Cayse, Paula (Bill) Klare, Carol Geary, Annette (Meddie) Kalegi, and Nanci (Brad) Lamar; and his brothers, Robert and George (Barbara) Huffman. He also leaves behind 26 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and a special friend, Peggy Zeil. Visitation will be on Sunday September 6, 2015 from 2:00PM-5:00PM at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday September 7th, 2015 at 10AM at St. Henry Catholic Church. Mausoleum Entombment at St. John Cemetery on Tuesday at 10AM.
