James Apke
James Apke, 71 of Florence passed away on December 15, 2023.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents Jerome and Mary Anne Apke and son: Geoffrey Apke. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Helene Apke, son: Matthew (Kristina) Apke, and grandchildren: Gracynne and Emeline.
Services will be held privately by the family. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Please also consider donating your blood or platelets at the Hoxworth Blood Center, that helped Jim immensely throughout the past couple of years.

Met Jim at Owen’s & Minor 10 years ago when I was only 23 years old. Man of few words, but provided me with great advice over the years. We shared great conversation and our interest in craft beers. A great man that will be missed. Thanks Jim for the advice you passed to me.
