William Pence

William “Bill” Grant Pence, age 60, died October the 15th in Las Vegas, Nevada after a sudden illness. He was an aviation mechanic with General Electric and a United States Army veteran. Bill was a resident of Burlington and loved his family, working on cars and being outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors include his wife Linda (nee Johnson) of Burlington, KY; 2 sons Chris Hamilton of Florence, KY and Beau Pence of Burlington, KY; 2 daughters Carolyn Jakubec of Glendale, AZ and Kayla Pence of Cincinnati, Ohio; 3 sisters Mildred Scherder of Burlington, KY, Dorothy Pence of Elsmere, KY and Sabrina James of Burlington, KY. Bill was “papaw” to 4 granddaughters and 2 grandsons. Visitation will be held Thursday October 22, 5-8pm at Linnemann Funeral Home and Event Center, Burlington. Funeral service will be Friday, 11am, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Burlington, KY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Cincinnati or The American Heart Association.
