Carolyn Scheben

Carolyn C. Scheben nee Child, 83, of Erlanger, KY passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015, at Providence Pavilion in Covington surrounded by her family. Carolyn was a teacher at St. Henry for a number of years and an Administrative assistant at Northern Kentucky University. In addition to her work, she was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, a member of the St. Henry Adult Choir, the Minister of Music for St. Henry, a St. Henry School board member, and lastly she volunteered at the soup kitchen for 37 years with the “unholy 5 plus 1”. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Scheben Jr., her son, Fred Scheben III; her grandsons, Michael and James Scheben, and her great-granddaughter, Stephanie Reinzan. She is survived by her loving children: Barbara (Phil) Hand of Franklin Furnace, OH, Carol (Joseph) Marosits of Union, Thomas Scheben of Union, Jean (Scott) Kimmich of Erlanger, and Bob (Mary Jo) Scheben of Mason, OH; and her siblings, Barbara Bach of Culver, IN, Dr. Frederick Child of Yukon, OK, Marguerite Harris of Bartlett, TN, and Sara Larimore of Little Rock, AR. She also leaves behind her 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild. Visitation will be on Thursday October 22, 2015 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday Friday October 23, 2015 at 10AM at St. Henry Catholic Church followed by burial at St. John Cemetery.
