Virginia A. Dahl

Virginia A. Dahl of Burlington, Kentucky passed away at her residence on Thursday, September 7, 2023.

Virginia was born in Wichita, Kansas on April 7,1939, to the late Willie Harrison and Mildred Megee Laughary.

Virginia was a long-time member of the American Legion. She loved gardening, cooking, and sewing. She was a very talented seamstress.

In addition to her parents Virginia is preceded in death by her first husband, Sigurd Holden, second husband, Vernon C. Dahl, and brother Richard William Laughary. Virginia is survived by her sister, Alta Lucille Silverthorne, brother, Thomas Harrison Laughary, brother, Donald Eugene Laughary, sister, Katherine Jane Davis and sister, Karen Sue Poole. She is also survived by multiple nieces and nephews and multiple great nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2023, from 10:00am-11:00am with a service to follow at 11:00am at Linnemann Funeral Home, 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, Kentucky, 41005. Burial will take place at Burlington Cemetery, 1786 Burlington Pike, Burlington, Kentucky 41005.
