Frank G. Davidson

Frank G. Davidson, 79, of Florence, KY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Hospice facility in Edgewood, KY. He was born September 2, 1943 in Malvern, AR to the late Ralph and Pauline Davidson. His wife, Linda was the love of his life and they spent the last 62 plus years together. They were going to celebrate their 60^th wedding anniversary later this year. Frank proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Covington, KY and Florence United Methodist Church. Frank was a hard workingman, and he worked for the phone company for 27 plus years. He was also very handy, a real Mr. Fix-it, and he was a perfectionist. He could do anything he put his mind to. Frank was a family man and a true friend. In his younger years, Frank was very involved in his kid’s activities, especially his son’s baseball. He also enjoyed fishing, it was something he enjoyed doing with his grandsons. Frank leaves behind his beloved wife, Linda Davidson, his loving children: Mark (Heidi) Davidson, Michele (Scott) Hodapp, and Melinda Herthel, his cherished grandsons: Zach Herthel, Blake Hodapp, Devon Opitz, Trent Hodapp and Hunter Davidson and his dear brothers: Paul (Jean) Davidson and Tom (Jamie) Stith. A visitation will be held for Frank on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 11:30am until 1:30pm at Linnemann Funeral Home, 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY 41005. A service will be held following the visitation at 1:30pm at the Funeral Home. Frank will be laid to rest at Burlington Cemetery in Burlington, KY.
