Robert W. Slater Jr.
Robert W. Slater Jr. passed away on June 27, 2023. He was a graduate of Bellevue High School and the University of Cincinnati. He was an avid tennis player.
He is survived by his wife Judy, son Rob, daughter Stephanie, four grandchildren, brother Gary Slater, and sister Barb Barnes.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 10 AM at St. John’s United Church of Christ (415 Park Ave. Newport, KY 41071) with service to follow at 11 AM.

Sorry to learn of Mr. Slater’s passing
Rob and family, I was sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. He and your mom were always so accommodating and patient with us as kids hanging out in the basement and carrying on… I always thought your dad was remarkable in that he never seemed out of sorts or bothered by our antics and seemed to understand that we needed an outlet to express ourselves. I know he lived a good life and will be missed by all who had the opportunity to know him. Take care and many blessings moving forward.
