Gayle Yeiser

Gayle Becker Yeiser, 82, passed away peacefully on Saturday June 3, 2023, at Rosedale Green Senior Living in Covington, KY.  She was born and raised in Evansville, Indiana.  Born on January 9, 1941, to the late David and Catherine Becker.

Gayle graduated high school in Evansville. In her younger years, Gayle loved couples roller skating, painting and worked a local restaurant drive in restaurant as a carhop.   Gayle raced sports cars in her free time in the Sports Car Club of America, which is where she met Bill, the love of her life.  Bill and Gayle got married in 1968 and were blessed with one wonderful son, Eric.  She worked as a bank teller at Permanent Federal Savings and Loan for many years before retiring. She loved her cats and was extremely talented in needlework.  When her husband Bill retired, they bought an RV and did a lot of traveling together. Gayle enjoyed crafts and spending time with her grandkids and two great grandkids.  Her family was her greatest joy, and they will miss her beyond measure.

She is preceded in death by her parents, David and Catherine Becker and loving husband, William “Bill” Yeiser.

Those left here to carry on her loving legacy are her son, Eric (Teresa) Yeiser; grandchildren, Katie (Tim) Grogan, Beth Sparrow, Ally Sparrow; great grandchildren, Lillian and Ida; extended family and many dear friends.  Gayle also leaves behind the wonderful staff that cared for her at Rosedale Green.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Gayle’s name to Rosedale Green Senior Living 4250 Glenn Avenue, Covington, KY 41015.

In keeping with Gayle’s wishes, no formal services will be held at this time.  Services will be held at the convenience of her family.
