Marion Cecelia Brock Huff

Marion Cecelia Brock Huff, 78, of Covington, KY passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY.  Marion was born on March 30, 1944, to the late Charles Foster Brock and Mabel Shears Brock in Jefferson County, KY.

Marion loved to sew and quilt blankets, among other things.  She enjoyed spending time with Boo, her cat.  He was like a child to her, whom she would spend her last dollar on.  It was with dignity and pride, Marion earned her G.E.D. and then went on to graduate from Medical Assistant School when she was forty years old.  Although she couldn’t practice in the field due to her many diseases, that didn’t stop her.  Marion loved playing bingo every Tuesday and Wednesday night at her apartment complex with her friends.  In her free time, when she wasn’t working on one of the many projects she had going, she would often do Cryptograms, Sudoku puzzles, or diamond paintings. Marion had a love for birds, for they were always so freeing. She will be missed beyond measure by all who knew and loved her.

Preceding Marion in death are her parents; husband, Marvin W. Huff, Sr.; sons, Marvin W. Huff, Jr., Norman “Matt” Huff; six sisters and one brother.

Those left here to carry on her legacy are her brothers, Alen “Foster” (Kathy) Brock, Ronald “Ronnie” (Arzelle) Brock, James “Ricky” (Jeanette) Brock; daughter in law, Kay Huff; granddaughters, Danielle (Eric) Hopkins, Theresa (Mark) Merz; multiple great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Linnemann Funeral Home 30 Commonwealth Ave Erlanger, KY.  A funeral service will immediately follow at the Funeral Home.  Marion will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY.
