A TIME TO REMEMBER

WE RECALL THE MANY TIMES WE WOULD SEE ANTHONY WHEN WE WENT UP TO VISIT JEN AND HER FAMILY FOR CHRISTMAS. HE WOULD ALWAYS SHOW UP, USUALLY TRANSPORTING HIS GRANDMA CHIP. ONE YEAR HE AND KEITH WERE KABBITTZING ABOUT NAVY AND WWII THINGS. IT SO HAPPENED ANTHONY WAS WEARING A NAVY CAP AND MY HUSBAND ASKED FROM WHERE HE HAD GOTTEN IT. ANTHONY SAID SOMEWHERE ON LINE BUT WAIT, TAKE THIS IT’S YOURS! WE HAVE IT TO THIS DAY. YOU’VE HEARD IT SAID, ‘ SOME WILL GIVE YOU THE SHIRT OFF THEIR BACK’ WELL HE GAVE THE CAP OFF HIS SHAVED HEAD!! MAY HE REST IN PEACE, KEITH & JOAN SHIFFERD
