Harold Lee “Moose” Congleton
Harold Lee “Moose” Congleton, age 91 of Burlington passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, just 4 weeks shy of his 92nd birthday. He was preceded by his wife, Bobbie Jean “BJ” in 2016, his parents, Lamar and Jessie Irene (Kirkpatrick), and sister Gladys Jean Maxwell. Harold is survived by his daughter Mary Ann (Phil) Beetem and granddaughter, Hollee (David) Black of Burlington
He was a member of Burlington Baptist Church. Harold was a heavy equipment operator, mechanic, owned and operated Harold’s Garage Service and retired from Boone County Road Department. He was Fire Chief of the Burlington Volunteer Fire Department from 1965 -1970.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Linnemann Funeral Homes, Burlington. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1pm. Harold will be laid to rest at Burlington Cemetery. Online condolences can be left at www.LinnemannFuneralHomes.com
