Rosemary “Rose” Catherine Zumbiel
Rosemary “Ro” Catherine Zumbiel (nee Keller), 73, of Edgewood, KY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at her home.
Rose “Ro” was raised in Norwood, OH, but has resided in Edgewood, KY, after living in the Cincinnati area for 31 years.
Ro loved crafts, especially jewelry art, and she created a business specializing in sports, custom jewelry, and rock painting.
In 1997 she and her husband, Bill, started Burnside-Somerset Boat Storage in Somerset, KY, near lake Cumberland and adjacent to their vacation property.
She loved traveling with her husband, spending many hours with her grandkids, especially while teaching them crafts and supporting them at their various school and sports activities. Ro also loved her Daschunds, and she thoroughly enjoyed her social gatherings with former school classmates.
Ro was a most beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
Ro was preceded in death by her parents, James and Rosella Keller; her brother, Mike Keller; and her brother-in-law, Kirk Lee.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Bill Zumbiel; her children, Chris (Tina) Zumbiel, Mandy (Corey) Zumbiel-Moore, and Matt (Jennifer) Zumbiel; and her siblings, Cathy (Bob) Corman, Sandy Lee, and Jim Keller.
Ro also leaves behind her 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Ro will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 10:00AM-12:00PM at St. Pius X Church in Edgewood, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 12:00PM at the church. She will be buried at St. Mary Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, KY.

Rose was one of the sweetest, kindest, fun persons I had the pleasure of calling my friend…She was an inspiration to me as she bravely fought her illnesses. I will miss her so much and prayed for her to Padre Pio every night. she was so very special…there will never be another ROSE!
