Janet Esther Huening

Janet Esther Huening (nee: Glenk), 71, of Rabbit Hash, KY passed away March 8, 2022 at her residence. She was born April 19, 1950 in Cincinnati, OH to the late George and Esther Glenk. Janet lived life on her terms, she was happy and loving, and she had a huge heart. She was an animal lover and she dedicated her life to helping and caring for animals. She worked as a Veterinary technician and had a passion for horses. She loved trail riding and spending time outdoors. She liked swimming, fishing, and communing with friends. Janet was a wife, mother, and grandmother, and her favorite memories were made with those she loved. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, William “Bill” Huening, her beloved daughter, Maggie (William) Upton, her cherished grandson, Eli Upton, and her dear sister, Barbara Good. Services for Janet will be handled in private at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation at 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306 in memory of Janet.
