Hairdresser and Friend

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Gretchen. She was loving witty, hilarious, intelligent, talented and enthusiastic about her passion for gems of all sorts. I loved listening to her stories about her past work experiences, her dog, making jewelry, planning her different club events, her trip out west that she enjoyed so much, and her beautiful and (twisted) insights on life. Seeing her once a week was a hilight and a breath of fresh air. She is missed! Sincerely, Gretchen’s hairdresser and friend

Beth = Coworker & Friend

I was privileged to get to work with Gretchen for 10 years. She trained me and could be to blame for the extensive detailed comments that I am known for lol (she would giggle at that). Her patience and expertise were unmatched and her presence will never be replaced. As I read her obituary, I learned something that she worked with SAAP. Five years ago, I heard about SAAP and, although it is almost 3 hours from me, I immediately submitted an application and within days picked up my BFF, my shadow, my Georgia Jewel. So that of course made me smile and tear up a little, Gretchen would have loved that.

Friend

Gretchen was one of the sweetest, kindness and caring ladies I have ever met. When I moved to Kentucky 6 years ago and joined New Friends of Northern Kentucky, she welcomed me with open arms. I will truly miss her. Rest in peace wonderful lady.

Friend

I will truly miss my New Fiends and Facebook friend; Gretchen was such an inspiration.

I am deeply saddened over the loss of a dear friend. She will be greatly missed

A Loving Friend

I lost my best friend this week and the world lost a truly wonderful person. Your passing has left a large hole in my heart. I begged you to stay but I understand that the challenge was too great. At least you will not be plagued with any more bad bone days. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Friend

I was so impressed by Gretchen. She was very intellegent, well read, experienced and so much more, a kind heart and zest for life. She will be missed.

Message of condolences

May our loving and gracious God hold her in the palm of His hands in heaven and grant her eternal peace!

A Best Friend

Gretchen was such a wonderful person and friend. She and I shared RenFaire’s for years. Although COVID prohibited us going the last two years, I will always hold close those memories of jousting, fairies, fun and jewelry. She was my sounding post and support at work. So many times she held me up when I wanted to just stop. She will be so missed but she will never be forgotten. Her smile and wonder at the world was a bright light.
