She graduated from East Leyden High School in Franklin Park, IL, Class of 1979. Following high school, Tina began working for Reynolds & Reynolds where she had a successful 26-year career in sales. After her career with Reynolds ended, Tina received a degree in Interior Design, and eventually obtained her Realtor’s license in Ohio, Kentucky, and Florida. Tina was very passionate about interior design and her talent was often sought by friends and family. Dear forever friend

To all of Tina’s family, I offer my heartfelt condolences. You had God’s light in your midst. There are very few people who can sum a person up in moments and look into their soul but Tina had that gift. She knew how to connect with people of all kinds and chose to be inclusive and share God’s love in so many ways. Once you met her, you saw Christ in her and she intuitively knew you. She had hundreds of friends who felt like they were best friends because of the effort she put into them and the depth Tina’s character and soul and every friendship mattered to her. To her family, I pray the memories and time you shared will one day bring you comfort, she shared so often about the love she had for all of you. To friends, we were so blessed and privileged to have known such a lady. I’m thankful to have had her in my life since childhood and thank Jesus we can all say “we will see each other again”. I know family will carry on Tina’s traditions and celebrations and make sure to bring the love and joy she did everything with. What she did with excellence she did out of love. The selfless effort to bring love and joy to everyone is part of what made everything she did so special and oh my could she make all of us laugh… Praying for Gods peace and comfort to you all.

My deepest condolences

Tina, Oh Tina….you left without saying goodbye. An hour before my own sister’s funeral I received word of your passing to heaven. I have been friends with you since the 5th grade when you moved into Schiller Park. The girl with the long hair and pigtails. Who am I going to joke about tips and white table cloths? So many things we shared and talked about. Our reconnection so many years later one late night when you called in panic mode asking how I can be the mother to a fireman when your Pher wanted to pursue that as a career. I said, Easy…it’s his dream. How quickly you became the proud mother of one. How we could laugh about it years later. You told it like it was; plain and simple. How you loved the idea of becoming a Glami, and then even more to a Girl! Your sweet Baby Sugar Reagan. Your beaming proud of not only her but your children as well. How we joked about tots n tiaras and large Farrah hair, to which you replied…I was one of “those” moms! Beautiful and meticulous Tina. Her cosmos needed to be made just as she would rattle it off starting with Grey Goose! I have a lifetime of memories, but I wanted a lifetime more to make with you. You have no idea, Tina, how much you are missed already. The void is immeasurable. I know how faithful you were. I have no doubts you are sitting in beautiful heaven with your mom, your father in law, and sweet dear Helen who you missed terribly. Please be ALL of our guardian angel. Perhaps when I wake tomorrow, this will be a bad dream. Soar high like the Eagle you shall always be my beautiful friend. You touched us all in some very special way.

To Mikel, Krystyna, Christopher, Clinette, and family…..I am so very sorry. I don’t have to tell you how much Tina will be missed by us. My only comfort is she knew she was going to a wonderful place. She told me over and over; she was not afraid. May you find comfort, peace and strength from all those that surround you.

Bette Jean (Gorr) Wilmot
