Aunt Nita

Greg, So sorry for your loss. Aunt Nita, your mom was a wonderful, kind and loving woman. She will be deeply missed. God Bless. Scott Pelfrey

Heaven has a new angel.

It is with great sadness that I learn of Miss Nita’s passing. I was one of the lucky ones to have had her as a first grade teacher. “Miss Nita” will be remembered by hundreds of children for her graciousness and kindness, as well as her superb skill as a teacher. She came to teach at the old Hebron School dressed immaculately each day. The phrased used to be “like she stepped right out of a bandbox”. I always admired how meticulous she was while working not in the easiest of circumstances. Her teaching of phonics has served her students well for many decades.
“Miss Nita” stayed in the hearts of her students and their families for many years after they had left Hebron Elementary. The dear lady must have had a closet full of Girl Scout Cookies! She would always graciously buy cookies from former students for years after they left her classroom.
I am very sorry for your loss.

Sincerely,
Minda Thompson

As Aunt Nita or or maybe it was Uncle Silvion told me once ” Keep your face always toward the sunshine and the shadows of life will fall behind you” cousin Larry H
