Janet “Jan” Mahaney

Janet “Jan” Mahaney, 87, of Taylor Mill, KY, passed away on Monday, Oct. 4, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY surrounded by her loving family. Jan retired from Value City Department store where she worked in the Jewelry department. She was a founding member of the Kenton Co. SPCA along with being the treasurer and bookkeeper. Jan loved all animals. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Carlos Mahaney in 2010 and her sisters, Joyce Yeager and Jane Meyer. Jan is survived by her loving children, Shawn Mahaney, Kelly Mahaney and Kevin (Raeginia) Mahaney. She also leaves her grandchildren, Leslie Coughlin, Michelle (Jeff) Young, Shannon Patrick, Kevin (Jessica) Mahaney II, 10 great grandchildren and her loving cousins and nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021 from 9am to 11am at St. Patrick Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11am at church.
