Goodbye Mike
Phyliss, so sad to hear of Mike’s passing. When I think of the good times in my life, just sitting around your kitchen table trading jokes with Mike, Scott, and your friend from South Bend is right there at the top. Some of their best are still in my repertoire. Mike, thanks for the memories, thanks for the laughs.

GO IRISH!
Mike was just one of the finest gentlemen I have ever been around. He was truly dedicated to the community. He was very helpful with the Rotary scholarships for the kids of Boone County. A very caring guy that I’m sure had a toast with his father in law Gene on St.Paddy’s day and began to work on fixing Notre Dame football from above. I will surely miss him! Glad he walked through my life. Shawn Carroll
Shared many lunches with Mike at Florence Rotary Club
Over a period that I estimate over 20 years, I enjoyed meeting with Mike at our weekly Rotary Club Meetings at the Florence Hilton on Monday at noon. Many times we sat at the same table and enjoyed chatting about local events, but it was much deeper then that, we would share experiences, recommendations, etc. He was a joy to spend time with, as well as providing helpful suggestions.

Mike was a giving man and a great Rotarian
Mike was my sponsor to the Rotary Club serving Florence and all of Boone County. It was important for him to come to our meetings, even when I knew it was getting harder for him to do. His wife Phyllis is a wonderful person to spend time with, and his family and friends are in my thoughts. I was blessed to have this gentleman in my life. Donald Aaron
