Raymond “Ray” H. Lehmkuhl Jr.
Raymond “Ray” H. Lehmkuhl Jr., 73, of Union, KY passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY. He was born March 20, 1947 in Covington, KY to the late Raymond Sr. and Alma Lehmkuhl. Ray was a very hard workingman. He worked approximately 40 years in the ready-mix concrete industry in sales. Ray was also a very loving man, and family was very important to him; his grandchildren meant everything to him. He and Marilyn never missed any of their activities. In addition to family and a wide array of friends, Ray had a keen interest in music. Over the past several years he and a strong team worked very hard on the annual Music Legends of Northern Kentucky program which was held during the summer. This gave recognition to the wide number of outstanding musicians throughout the many years who received their start in Northern Kentucky. Ray will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 44 years: Marilyn Lehmkuhl, his beloved daughter: Andrea (Lance Pracht), his cherished grandchildren: Sydney and Logan Davis, his dear sister: Caroline (Bernie) Brown, his nephews: Erik (Lisa) Brown and Kyle (Brigid) Brown, and his great nieces and nephews. Due to the current Covid-19 situation, services for Raymond will be handled in private at the convenience of his family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Ray. RIP Ray. The Lord got an extremely great man. Growing up we shared time doing many things together. Getting into a tiny bit on michief..ggg. And we enjoyed St Anthony grade school and Cov Cath Class of 65. I and many held you to high esteem. You were always an outstanding young man and as you grew that went with you and continued to grow. I remember how hard you worked in the concrete business and always making sure every job was done top quality. If you had gift of helping. You were always helping someone no matter how small or how large.
In closing Ray I guess my best words to you are “Thanks for the Memories”
