Judy, Lynn, Dave, Chris, and Laurie, I am so sorry for your loss. {{hugs}} I have the best memories of Uncle Les. He was always so much fun. His stories would make you laugh or bug out your eyes; either way they were entertaining. He was a good man. He was extremely hard working and kind. His stubborn side also provided many funny stories. I cherish all the time I spent at your house as a child and visiting Uncle Les as an adult. I will miss him. It brings me comfort to think he can breathe without discomfort. I’m sure he and Donnie are up to mischief and my mom is trying to keep them in line. All happy and laughing.

Chris, Dave and Laurie – great memories of Mr Lambert as I knew him. Always thought it funny as a kid that my Mom’s best friend was named Mrs Lambert. Go figure. Your Dad was a fixture at the ball field, be it Lions Park or the Lloyd diamond. Some of my best memories were the Otto Printing vs Erlanger Lions days as we progressed through C, B and A leagues. The Lambert boys were on the Otto side and I was on the Lions side. Good thing we had Ray Brake on the Lions! On occasion when Brad Long was tired of catching, Mr Collins would put me in. If Ray was pitching, I’d go home with blood blisters on my left hand. Your Dad was always funny as he described his baseball experiences to us. When “the Bean” had strep throat one summer and I’d visit, Mr and Mrs Lambert were always thankful to have me around as a distraction! Good memories. God bless you all, Doug

I am so very sorry for the loss of Les. I am thankful that I was able to talk with him a couple times over the past few months. He was a good man and I really missed him over the years. Love and prayers to all of the family.

My family and I lived next door to the Lamberts when I was growing up. He gave me the nickname Jill-Bird that has stuck with me for 45 years. Very fond memories of those days and of Mr. Lambert. ❤️

My condolences to his family. I grew up in the house next to the Lamberts. As I kid, I looked up to him and he was definitely my favorite neighbor. When he was building a brick flower bed in front of his house, he let me watch, even though I was only around 7 years old. He was a hard worker, always making chokers in his basement at night.
