Deepest Condolences
Cliff was the model public servant and Federal scientist. He spent his entire career at EPA working on the most fundamental of human needs, safe drinking water. Countless Americans and other across the world benefitted from his hard work and the lives of many were saved and are better because of Cliff’s research. He was respected and admired by his peers and his managers. He was funny and serious at the same time. The nation has lost a giant. I know he has a very special place in heaven. With deepest condolences to his family and friends. Sally C. Gutierrez (Former Director. EPA Cincinnati)

Dear Peggy and the rest of the Johnson Family,
I was so sorry to see that Cliff had passed. I got to know him at St. Pius X Church many years ago. He had similar interests working for the EPA. He was always a great guy to talk to, soft spoken and so kind. I’m glad I got to know him.
Sincerely,
Dave Nutini
