To A Best Friend

Morris and I have been the best of Friends since the early sixties. Both of us served on active duty with the US Army. Morris was stationed at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina with the 82nd Airborne Division while I was in Special Forces Training Group there. We got together several times while we were at Bragg. It was always good to be with him. He was discharged around the same time I graduated and assigned to 5th Group in Vietnam. When I returned home and discharged, Morris was the first pal I contacted. He was something special!! We both joined the 11th Special Forces Group of the US Army Reserves and did a lot of training together for the many years that followed. Morris was always upbeat and full of humor, and it rubbed off on all of us. I could relate many more stories of the good times we shared, but suffice it to say, He is loved and will be missed. I know that he is now with our Lord God and Savior in Heaven.
