Smitty

We are so sorry to hear of Smitty’s passing. Our sincere condolences to Sara and his family.

We have many fond memories of our interline trips together back in the 70’s, what a crazy, fun group that was!!

Smitty

I will always remember Mr. Tough Guy who was a softie. When I went to the Airport as a Ticket Agent, we didn’t have a lot of contact except hello or have good day. But when I went back as Passenger Service Manager, he was very helpful and encouraging. Joni Pipkins

Wonderful Knothole Parent, Manager, and Friend

I have great memories of R.C. from being Robby’s Knothole manager in 1973 and ’74, and also watching him manage his own team with many of my former players. He really had a heart for service and was great with the kids. I appreciate the great support that he and Sara gave me both years. I also remember the wonderful team picnic they hosted in their back yard, and R. C.’s great sense of humor. I was planning on get “caught up” with Smitty whenever I finally make it back to Erlanger, but I sadly waited too long. My deepest condolences to Sara, Robby, Dana, and all of the many family and friends.
