Chris Giegler

Christopher “Chris” Joel Giegler, 35 of Newport, passed away on October 30^th. Chris was a beloved son, caring brother, loving uncle, and dear friend. He worked as a server at the esteemed steak house, The Precinct, in Cincinnati. Chris was also a certified EMT. When he wasn’t working, Chris excelled at shooting pool and valued time spent with friends and family. He was a tremendous fan of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears and had a soft spot for the Cincinnati Reds. Chris’ big heart and loving nature will be dearly missed by those who carry on his memory; parents, David and Suzanne Giegler; siblings, Matthew (Jennifer) Giegler, Scott Giegler and Erica (Tony) Miles; niece, Sarah Beth Giegler and nephews, Joshua, Jacob, Joseph and Christopher Giegler.  A memorial visitation will be on Monday, November 4^th 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger, KY followed by a memorial service.  In lieu of flowers the family requests charitable contributions in Chris’ memory to The Jeff Ruby Foundation 700 Walnut St. Ste: 200 Cincinnati, OH 45202 or by visiting the website at https://jeffrubyfoundation.securetree.com/.  The foundation focuses on helping at-risk youth and foster kids.
