After moving from the area a few years back, I regret not doing a better job of remaining in touch. From an initial client vendor relationship that started years ago, I considered Don a true friend. He was always willing to help and we shared many common interests.

Vickie, I am so sorry to hear the news of Don’s passing. You have lost your true soulmate, I could see it in his eyes and his smile how much he loved you and how you two were truly a team in life. My last few talks with him on the phone he told me he was ready and that he was not afraid, I know his faith has served him well and he is at peace in heaven and he will wait patiently for the day you two can be together again. I known Don and I had our differences earlier in my career, but the last few years I felt we had formed a friendship that I certainly will never forget. I am so sorry I will not be able to attend today’s services, perhaps the next time I visit we can take a trip to his resting place if you would be OK with that. You and Don are in our prayers. I have worked with Don for nearly 20 years and he was a thoughtful, honest , and genuinely good man. He and his company were always there to help and were probably the most trusted vendor I ever worked with.

More importantly he was a good man.

Don was such a wonderful, caring, giving, kind and helpful man. I’m sorry for your loss and he will truly be missed. I’ve known him since I was little and know he would do anything for anybody.
