Denver Ison

Denver Ison of Burlington, Kentucky passed away at his residence on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of the late Geneva Ison; cherished son of the late Gideon and Opal Ison; devoted father of Kathryn Klausen and Timothy (Holly Angel) Ison; dear brother of the late Odeis Ison, Ruth Marshall, Delza Ison, and Orban Ison; loving grandfather of Danielle (Greg) Skelton and Jessica Ison; loving great-grandfather of Cooper and Dylan Skelton; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews; as well as a mentor and friend to many.

Denver honorably served his country in the United States Army. He dedicated his life’s work to mechanical engineering, first working for P&G and later establishing his own machine part fabrication company. Denver was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation Celebrating Denver’s life will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Linnemann Funeral Home in Burlington, KY followed by interment at Burlington Cemetery.
